On 23th November 2011 IVSZ (ICT Association of Hungary) organized a workshop titled Quality Management in the Software Industry.
The half-day workshop included three presentations. In the first, Dr. Katalin Balla, Managing Director of the SQI demonstrated the different software quality models that can be applied to the software development process, highlighting multi-model software process improvement could serve a solution for the future. The presentation included a briefing about standards used in Hungary (including ISO 9001, industry-specific models such as Automotive SPICE, CMMI-DEV and CMMI-SVC) and the advantages and disadvantages of certification of individual companies.
