In 2002 he obtained his “software developer” and “embedded programmer” BSc degrees from the Széchenyi István University, Győr. He obtained his “system developer” MSc degree (with excellent classification) from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2005. Since 2006 he has been attending a PhD course of Eindhoven University of Technology. In his PhD research he is creating a measurement model which can make “good” prediction for the number of defects in the delivered software product in order to help determine the necessary testing effort in a development project.
He has been working for the SQI Hungarian Software Quality Consulting Institute Ltd. as SEPG consultant since 2005. He took part in several CMMI assessments of Hungarian software developer companies. He gained practice in organizational process modeling and process improvement.
Since 2005 he has been working for the Department of Control Engineering and Information Technology at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics as assistant lecturer, as well. He takes part in education of subjects related to software quality, software testing, IT security, software design (RUP, UML) and software development (Java, .Net C#). He leads several MSc theses in each academic year.
He investigates mainly the following standards and recommendations: CMMI, PSP, ISO 9001, ISO 90003, ISO 12207, ISO 9126, ISO 14598, ISO 25000, ISO 15939, FMEA, SixSigma, CobiT, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, Common Criteria.
